Ways to Work
Loan Program

Our Ways to Work Program provides hard working families with financial assistance when unexpected expenses threaten to disrupt their lives. This program offers small, short-term loans to parents who cannot get a loan elsewhere so that they can continue to work, support their children and/or stay in school.
Loans range from $500 to $6,000. They may be used for the purchase of a used car, appliances, job-related tools and uniforms or car repairs. Loans also may be used to cover medical assisted devices necessary to remain on the job or in school. Individuals pay back the loans with interest (8%).
Loans are provided to people who meet certain criteria and have completed a money management class and interview . Through Ways to Work, Trillium helps families learn fiscal responsibility while moving one step closer to financial independence.
Initiated with the support of the Sisters of Charity Foundation and grants from the State of Ohio, Ways to Work is now funded through a U.S. Department of Transportation grant.
