Alcohol and Chemical Dependency Services
Program Philosophy
Working with the entire family in developing helping approaches that work best in the treatment of chemical abuse/dependency is a core belief of Trillium. This means blending the best practices from the fields of medicine, psychology, family counseling, and traditional 12-step, self-help programs (i.e. AA, NA, Al-Anon, etc.). Trillium Family Solutions, Inc.'s counselors work with each client and family to help them achieve their alcohol/drug recovery goals. All therapists in the treatment program are licensed counselors or social workers with certification or a declared scope of practice in chemical dependency counseling. Psychiatric consultation is available as needed. Whether we are working with adults or teenagers in their struggles with alcohol and other drugs, we are committed to not only working with the individual, but their family as well.
Adolescent Outpatient Treatment and Court Assessment Services
Assessment and referral services are provided to teens both within as well as outside the Stark County Family Court system. Teens are assessed, screened, referred and/or provided treatment and education on-site at our local Family Court. The emphasis is on early intervention and treatment for teens that find themselves in trouble with the law. Adolescent group treatment services include Early Intervention sessions for teens whose use has not reached chronic levels, as well as Stabilization Groups for adolescents currently using mind altering substances and seeking help to understand their problems and to make a commitment to recovery. Per Trillium's family focus, parents and caretakers will participate in a thorough alcohol and/or chemical dependency assessment.
