Are your employment opportunities limited due to long transit times, an unreliable vehicle, or no car at all? Ways to Work may be able to help you! If you meet eligibility requirements, Ways to Work can provide you a loan from $500 to $6000 to be used to purchase a car, vehicle repairs, essential home appliances, tools and uniforms for work, and medical assistive devices.

To be eligible for the program, you must meet the following requirements:

Have a valid Ohio drivers license
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be a resident of Stark County for a minimum of six months
Employed for at least six months working a minimum of 20 hours a week
Must be a parent or guardian of a dependent child
Must demonstrate the ability to afford monthly payment
Must not currently be in bankruptcy

If these criteria describe you, please contact us! You will be required to attend a financial coaching class, a consultation with a financial counselor to plan a budget, and a final loan interview. All loan approvals are dependent on the approval of a loan committee.
